KAP (Kite Aerial Photography)

Kite Aerial Photography is a means of taking photos from an unusual perspective by lifting a camera attached to the line of a kite.  The rig used can be as simple as just tying the camera onto the line, or as elaborate as having electrical servos to turn the camera in different directions and to tilt it up and down, to fitting a small video camera to give a constant view of what the camera is seeing, and full remote control of the camera.  My own rig is very simple and relies on a camera which has a built-in intervalometer to take photos automatically at fixed intervals.
